Valentín Rivas Vera
Founding Partner
Valentín Rivas is a seasoned professional with extensive operating and investing experience. He currently serves as Managing Partner at Lanze Capital. Prior to founding Lanze, Mr. Rivas was Director of Strategy at Lyntia (backed by Antin Infrastructure Partners), where he led the consolidation of fibre market in Spain with +100 transactions and an overall value of more than €1 billion. Valentin is also involved in tech landscape both as advisor and angel investor with focus on SaaS and Fintech. Previously he founded a SaaS startup in the AgTech space and worked as an independent M&A consultant. He started his career at Bain & Company where he specialized in commercial due diligence and post acquisition value creation mandates for PE backed companies. Valentin holds a Double Degree in Law and Business Administration from ICADE (E-3), where he currently serves as Strategy Professor.
Alfonso Hernández de Urrutia
Senior Manager
Alfonso is an experienced investment professional with unique expertise in the combination of M&A and state-of-the-art data analysis tools. In his previous role at Lyntia he spearheaded a team of professionals which developed innovative approaches and proprietary tools to source, assess and value a wide range of digital infrastructure assets with value exceeding €1B. Previously he worked as a management consultant for Rivergo Advisors working in a wide range of projects for financial investors. Alfonso started his career as a Mining Engineer in Repsol after completing the Energy and Mining Engineering degree in University of Salamanca.
